発明特定事項 特別な技術的特徴

特許庁からの拒絶理由通知などで見かける表現。

「発明特定事項」　は、審査基準の英語版にもあるように

（特許・実用新案　審査基準　第Ｉ部第２章４．２あたり）

（Examination Guidelines for Patent and Utility Model in Japan, Part I, Chapter 2, Section 4.2)

"matter(s) specifying the invention"

とか、

"matter(s) specifying the claimed invention"

これでとりあえず問題なし。

「特別な技術的特徴」は、
"special technical feature"

だそうな。特許庁審査官から直接聞いたのでアレですが、庁内ではこれをＳＴＦ、ＳＴＦって呼んでるから間違いないよとのこと。。
